Great food and great service - the pricing is great for the portions deffo recommend one of the nicest Indians I’ve had in Leeds city by far!
Best curry in Leeds without a doubt. Regularly friends recommend other Indian/Pakistani restaurants but I refuse to go elsewhere. Nothing tops this.
The best food in the world! No exaggeration. I have just come back from a trip around Europe but I really missed this restaurant whilst I was away.
Nawaab Caters For Princess Diana - 5th July 1996
The Princess of Wales was guest of honour at a party last night, hours after her lawyers had received details of her husband's proposed divorce settlement.
Wearing a traditional cream Shalwar Kameez studded with pearls for the fund-raising event organised by her friends, Imran and Jemima Khan, the Princess seemed calm and composed. She paused briefly after getting out of her car at the Dorchester Hotel to smile for photographers before joining her hosts in the ballroom.
She was to make a speech last night on behalf of Imran Khan's cancer hospital, which had been seriously damaged in a terrorist attack earlier this year.
Other guests included Susannah Constantine, wearing a gold and rose sari; Lucas White, son of the late Lord White, with his girlfriend, Normandy Keith, in Versace. Sir James Goldsmith was almost the last to arrive.
The Princess joined 600 guests for a supper of chicken tikka, lamb spinach and pilau rice, prepared by the Nawaab restaurant in Yorks - a favourite with Imran Khan from his cricketing days.
